Where are you based out of? Do you travel for shoots?

I’m based in Victoria, BC!

I love exploring all of Vancouver Island, and seriously anywhere. I absolutely will travel to you, or you can travel to me as BC is so so gorgeous!

How many images will you include?

Each one of my package differs, but I promise I always include plenty of each thing I captured.

I don’t give myself a set amount of pictures I deliver because I find I always want to send you more! I feel that you should have as many memories to keepsake as possible. So basically, lots. 😉

When will we receive our pictures?

For sessions, I give myself up to 3 weeks to deliver, and for weddings you will recieve about 100 previews within 2 weeks, and the rest of the images within 6 weeks following.

Do you give raw unedited images?

No I do not, I only deliver edited, high quality photos. My hope is that you want to work with me for all my work, including my editing style. The raw images are only half the art, editing the way I do is the other half of my work.

If you are concerned I did not deliver an image you were excited for, just ask and I will look through them again to see if possibly I forgot to send one! I always try to send you every memory though.

Can you help us plan our day?

Absolutely! I can help with vendor recommendations, location scouting, whatever you need to make this all easier and more fun for you!

How will I know how to pose?

I get questions about posing often because I know many are concerned with looking/feeing uncomfortable in front of the camera, so just know that I’VE GOT YOU.

I will be directing you to make sure you are having tons of fun and are not uncomfortable!

I do not do stiff posing where I tell you exactly how to stand and where to look, but instead use “prompts” to draw out your natural emotions and reactions. I basically keep you moving the whole time and we just have fun!! 

What if we need to reschedule or cancel?

The deposit you send when booking with me is legally nonrefundable. If you need to reschedule, I will do my best to move your date if I am available, however this is not a guarantee or required of me. I of course always want to help you out and will try!

When do I pay you?

I require a booking deposit of $100 to secure your photo session, with the remaining amount at the photoshoot itself.

For weddings, I require a 50% deposit, with the remaining 50% due 14 days before your big day. I would be happy to help you out with a slightly different schedule to make it more affordable, just ask and I’ll see what I can do!

Can you photoshop us?

I will absolutely fix some temporary blemishes such as acne or bruises unless you want me to keep those. However, I don’t alter the way you look as I want to show you your beautiful self!

If there’s something you’re self conscious about, I will do my best to be aware of it while posing you.

What should I wear?

The most important thing to me is that I deliver images where you feel like your truest self! I will be posing you in ways to capture that, so the clothes you wear should also represent you and your style.

That being said, I generally recommend neutral, earthy tones and limited patterns. If you need more ideas let me know and I will send you some inspiration!

What happens if you can't make it to our wedding?

This is LITERALLY my worst nightmare.

This would only ever happen if something terrible and unavoidable happened, like major illness, sudden disability, death… the like. If this were to happen, I would do my best to find a suitable replacement with similar styles who can photograph your day, and then edit it myself, though I am not legally responsible to do so. If I am unable, your money will be refunded.
